I will say for best picture its a toss up between Avatar, Hurt Locker, and Inglourious Basterds.

For Best Supporting Actor its and easy win for Christoph Waltz

Best directors between Cameron, Bigelow, and Tarantino.

Did u know that Cameron and Bigelow were once married?

I am not sure yet, but I feel "Avatar" doesn't merit the best picture award. As far as art direction, special effects or whatever else falls into this category I would say most definitely yes. It was the 3D that captured me, the colors, special effects, just awesome!

I do not know a lot about the Oscars, but i am sure that avatar will win tons of awards, i personally did not like it but usually when i do not like something that is when everyone else does.

My prediction is that lots of over-paid, overrated and undernourished actors will win awards for having done very little. I also think that there will be one token indie movie that is celebrated, though only to keep up appearances. All of the losing actors will be falsely congratulating the winners, whilst thinking it should of been them. There will be masses of false smiles and enough make-up to paint the moon twice over.

I'm also predicting there'll be enough electricity wasted on the event to power a small country for a week.

It surprises me there aren't more alien movies these days... they'd save a fortune on costumes.

I don't think that Avatar deserves to be the best film, but Cameron is quite possible as he usually works ratehr hard and gets good results, but Avatar has no idea.

Two with cynical and sarcastic styles, and I know a third one who I live with! Yikes!

It will be curious for me to see who actually does won the best motion picture award.
