Hi,i like English language a lot even i feel hard to learn and write the language with out mistakes.I heard English language is the oldest language in the worlds history.Is it true?.. what about you guys

I like English too, but I like Spanish a lot although they are not my native languages. As for the ancient language so I think it was Latin.

The Egyptians had a written language long before Latin came into existence.

No it's not.

Greek, Arabic, Sumerian, Celtic etc etc were around before the English language. In fact, many of the words that are accepted as "English" are adoptions, adaptions or corruptions of many other languages.

well i agree that english is universal language. which also makes people with english base lazy to learn other language

. which also mean..probably other people can speak 3 or more language ..he stuck only knowing english

my english isnt good but i try

i can speak 6 traditional language (my country has about 400 language, 1 national language)

None taken

It's more the hang over from the Imperialist attitude of the Raj and when taking over a country in the name of the Empire they demanded to know "Why can't the damned johnny foreigner learn to speak English"?

Without actually thinking that THEY were the "damned johnny foreigner". not the people who actually lived in the country they had "civilised"!

I like Chinese but it's a pain in the *** to learn. 学习中文是很麻烦。 (Studying Chinese is very annoying/troublsome.)

I speak French, English and Portuguese.
And My favorite's one is Portuguese because this is the language of love

I like English, and I also like English Slang. Actually, those are the only two languages I know. That and Pig Latin, but that's not one of my favorites.
