hi, i cant really type for 8 hours straight, i was wondering how many breaks at work you get and for how long each break do you get as a web developer? i was hoping for little breaks all day to rest my hands.

I have breaks inbetween brews (tea) and forum browsing where I do a bit of work

hehe. if you dont know how to do something at work as a web developer, what do you do? do they fire you? or do you look up a tutorial real quick? or ask another developer in the office?

Anytime the boss is not looking seems like a good time to take a break or a nap.

Be your own boss, one doesn't have to worry about breaks or rest periods, which I know is an easy thing to say. I can only assume in the workplace, you would have a fifteen minute break in the morning and also in the afternoon, and an hour for lunch.

Thats why I freelance online. I can get up whenever, work whenever, as long as the job gets done properly thats all it matters. :P
