I used MS Frontpage for awhile and really liked it because I could edit files on the server remotely. Nowadays many servers don't use Frontpage extensions so I have been working locally then uploading via the built in FTP and I hate it.

Does anyone know an application which functions similar to Frontpage?

Or ask your host to allow WEBDAV

(It will give them a laugh, if nothing else.)

I am looking for a local application that will connect to the server to edit the files on the server in realtime. A CMS is not a file editor.
