What exactly are you looking for? I worked most of my way through college as a caterer so I know a few recipes.

Just go get some chinese food and pretend like you made it, take it out of its containers and put it on plates.

"Wow! How did you get the paper into the fortune cookie?
... why does it say 'A thrilling time is in your immediate future'".

The fortune cookies would have to get thrown out, can't leave any evidence laying around.

Are you planning on cooking a full course dinner? How unusual? When someone mentions unusual I think of something really bizarre.
Naughty naughty Knight, ! However it does work sometimes! I was thinking of the movie "Always" where she had picked up chicken dinners, came home, through flour all over the kitchen, like she had been cooking all day.
Like Matt said, how are you going to get the papers in the fortune cookies? One can't have a Chinese dinner without fortune cookies.

And we don't have chinese restaurants here...

I was going to submit a Minestrone Soup recipe which has no meat, but requires 4 cups of beef or chicken broth. The salad recipes I have wouldn't be considered the main entree, the best I can submit is a dessert recipe. Perhaps Matt has some meatless salad recipes.
Here's a dessert recipe.......

Hope you enjoy this recipe
Mexican Chicken and Tomatillo Stew
Ingredients
- Crispy Tortilla Strips:
- 3 (12 inch) flour tortillas
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Chicken and Tomatillo Stew:
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 1/2 cups peeled and diced sweet potatoes
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 3/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 tablespoon finely minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 5 cups lower sodium chicken broth
- 2 1/2 cups shredded or chopped cooked chicken
- 2 cups diced tomatillos
- 2 fully ripened Avocados from Mexico, halved, pitted and diced
- 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
- Ground black pepper to taste
Directions
- For Crispy Tortilla Strips: Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Cut 3 (12-inch) flour tortillas into 3/8-inch strips; cut strips into 2 inch pieces and toss with 1 tablespoon oil. Spread out on rimmed baking sheet; bake until crisp, about 7 minutes, tossing occasionally. Yields 8 servings (about 3 cups).
- In large saucepan, heat oil. Add sweet potatoes, celery, onion, garlic and cumin; cook and stir for 5 minutes. Add broth, chicken and tomatillos; bring to boil; reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Just before ready to serve, stir in 1 cup of the tortilla strips along with the Avocado and cilantro. Season with pepper, if desired.
- Serve in bowls topped with remaining 2 cups tortilla strips and sour cream, if desired.

I'm a huge fan of cooking seafood fra diavlo style like shrimp, lobster or even calamari. You have to be careful not to overdo the bam factor or the spicyness will overshadow the food.

What may be unusual for you is normal for a some. Like uhhh.... how about sea urchin? That is a very yummy aphrodisiac.
Japanese cuisine is a yummy and USUAL choice for me..... but not necessarily for others
