I don't know about you, but I love to watch lightning storms.

What about you?

I like watching them, but where i live we do not have that many, maybe 4 or 5 a year and they really do not last that long.

Yes, Our lightning storms usually last for about 5 or 10 minutes and they are usually never that big. I have seen storms on youtube that were amazing.

Me, I don't really like watching lightning in personal, I've seen lightning at youtube, it's fine with me and it amazes me.

Well, I think it can be rather dangerous to watch such storms as there were cases when people were injured even when they stayed at home but they were too close to the windows or some electric devices. I prefer to hide somewhere inside the house and wait till it ends.

This picture was taken many years ago by my husband with a 35mm camera. He was out in the field, made sure the tripod was adjusted, etc. and just snapped away, this was the best one.

Lol... not the brightest thing to do.

You know what's more interesting? Lightning that travels from the ground up.
