Actually, scientists believe that this is the first generation that will live well over 100 hundred years.

Let's hope they isolate the genetic code that makes the turitopsis nutricula jellyfish biologically immortal before any of us go.

Nothing can prevent people from death. Why do you wan to live for ever? Do you wan to see when the planet disappears? I think 100 years for a person is more than enough.Old people become like kids when they are senile.

I, for one, would love to see if we successfully complete our transition from a type 0 civilization to a type 1 civilization - as Dr. Michio Kaku refers to it.
