Hello, I have been doing freelance work for awhile now (on the side) and I think it's time now to really legitimize my business now that it is becoming a full-time job.
Ok, what I have already done is DBA registration with the county clerk, and I have claimed my income on taxes, but thats about it.
I'm thinking I need to trademark my company name and also look into getting a business license - but I don't know if I even need a business license?
I have no employees and I work out of my house.
Any input on what I should do?
