Anyone know if it's possible to disable the googleads, or a.collective-media.net ads? I see these all over the place, among many other ads that slow down INTERNET access DRAMATICALLY!

DRAMATICALLY is NOT EVEN THE WORD TO DESCRIBE THE SPEED DECREASE!

The browser status bar is always 'Looking up somedomain.com' or 'Connecting to somedomain.com'...

Don't people give up on this? Why not just create a site and log queries? Is that not good enough anymore? **** it, I pay good money to watch others control the internet?

Your views on this would be greatly appreciated!

Pretty much this.

It's definitely a must if you're using free file hosting sites like Megaupload and Mediafire.
