Answering your own questions? Actually, glass is a colloid, neither liquid nor solid, but acts as a very slow liquid. If you look at the windows of very old buildings you'll see that there's greater mass at the bottom than the top.

While you're correct in saying the original statement is false... your explanation is also false. Typically when the brain receives 2 wavelengths of light it outputs the colour in between their spectrum, and that's what you see. However, in the case of red and violet (opposite ends of the light spectrum) your brain creates a new colour, pink. Pink is not on the light spectrum, and does not posses a wavelength. It's made up by your brain to organize data.

I'm going to say false for two reasons: When a bacterium divides, the original cell no longer exists, and thanks to the design that allows evolution, the copies may not be exactly like the original. Also, anything that can be killed/destroyed isn't immortal, so thanks to antibiotic agents, bacteria aren't immortal.

I was actually referring to biological immortality, so the second bit can be ignored - a being that is biologically immortal is still able to die... it just doesn't kill itself through the process of living. Bacteria possess circular chromosomes called plasmids. During the process of replication, our relatively linear chromosomes go through damage, and our telomeres shorten. Each time they replicate, they get shorter and eventually repress replication. Plasmids, because of their circular nature, do not go through damage during replication. As a result, they don't have that "limit" our cells have. A single bacteria on its own can be considered dead when it divides through binary fission. The system as a whole hoever, their colony, can be considered as biologically immortal. It's sort of like dynamic equilibrium. Things are changing, but the overall is constant.

Also, false. It is actually a helium ion, or the nucleus of a helium atom stripped of its electrons (helium plasma).
