I am planning to start some activity on my website that rewards the participants. Wondering what is the best way to reward the participants? What do you guys do?

Points and titles are no go

I want to reward them with something they can use to shop on the internet or get some value (money) in one way or the other.

Can such transfers be instantaneous into winner's PayPal Account via PayPal API or something?

Mine is going to be a new kind of gaming website where winners get anywhere between $1 to $50 bucks depending on several factors (sounds like PayPal will be very costly solution for many small transfers every hour)

If I could integrate a solution which is scalable and can grow with traffic using PayPal API that will be awesome. Thanks for the tip
