Just came across this its a U.S. patent for a cure for Aids http://patft.uspto.gov/netacgi/nph-P...676977&RS=PN/5

What do you make of it?

(1) That patent application is over 10 years old.
(2) "they put stress on the liver causing hepatomegaly"
(3) Nuff said.

Interesting read Barry, thanks for the link. I wonder if "Magic Johnson" is on this treatment? Another thing I wonder how expensive the is treatment?

I believe they are a lot closer now, because of progress with vaccines they've made in the past 2 or 3 years. They may be looking for vaccines, but I think that will lead to a cure.

(1) 10 Years so what? It was granted in 97 after being put in for in 96!

^ What about the people who contracted the virus through blood transfusions?

For me, it's a dreadful disease no matter how it was contracted.....

Another concern, hopefully everyone will be able to afford the cure no matter what financial status you are in.

Interesting read Fahad, I watched a documentary on Cancer, the Doctor explained how after treatments the Cancer can go hide somewhere else or lie dormant, in the Doctor's words, "it's very smart." After reading your post on Aids, I seen similarities on both as to how they act once inside the body.
