Me i am my own hero, no one ever lives up to peoples expectations so i would rather be my own hero then to have someone i look up to let me down.

There are lots of individuals that I consider my hero.
But number one would have to be my Mom.
Everyday, I can see how much effort she puts in to our family just to take care of us and to give us our needs. A true example of someone with an unconditional love. She's the person that I admire and look up to the most! I♥U MoM!

You guys don't get the meaning of "hero" in the context of the thread. A "personal hero" is the one person who inspires you most through their own actions and lives, and who's teachings or example you follow in your life to make yourself better.

You can't possibly be your own hero in this meaning, because your actions and beliefs cannot be inspired by themselves.
