Unfortunetly: Professionally image and opinion have a huge impact on career. So in this case it matters a great deal.

Personnally: It shouldn't matter but it does to me as well.

When I was a teenager, yes, but at this point in my life I don't care what people think about me. As long as I'm happy with myself that's all that matters.

When I am going between new people, I check my dress many times in the mirror, close look and away looks, both. Because I personally believe that the clothes and hair style both put a lot of impact.
