Hello, I'm new to this site and I had a couple of questions -

Are there any software developers on this site that can help build an online e-commerce site for transactional business?

I will be building a site as a direct competitor to PayPal or any institution related to this industry.

This is in the planning phases and looking for IT support -

Thanks -

When your site has been around 12 years or so you might become a "direct competitor" to paypal.

Do you have the $50,00 to $100,000 it will take to get a payment processor fully licenced, fully secured and fully insured.
Could you produce the $30,000 a year it will cost to maintain the servers and security for the first four or five years?

How about the $50,000 plus a year it will cost to promote it?

Or is this a J Wellington Wimpy plan for getting off the ground.

AND BTW You're not the first with the idea.

.com Domain average price = $12 a year.

$100,000 to get licensed, insured and security measures implemented.

~$50,000 a year for the servers.

Another ~$40,000 for maintenance and security a year.

Another ~$50,000 for promotion and advertising.

Math time!

Based on a 12 year scale:

Domain: $144
Initial charges for licensing, insurance and security measures: $100,000
Servers for 12 years: $600,000
Maintenance and security for 12 years: $480,000
Promotion and Advertising costs for 12 years: $600,000

Total costs for 12 years time: $1,780,144

I have the money and the niche market which is the most important to sustain - obviously I would be competing with PayPal in more of a 5 year plan but have a market of roughly 100 million Americans that I can access right away. I'm working on a business plan for my investor so I need someone that knows about the hardware / logistic side to PM me please.

Ok so you are asking on an open forum for some random person to PM you about a possible million dollar project that involves the security of customers credit card details.
