I don't understand why this bothers you. It's really a matter of personal preference if someone wants to build up their posts with games. It's not in the forum rules to keep your posts to a minimum so again it's a personal thing if you want to play the games - whether your reasons for posting in them is to build posts or not. But, like Jim I find them a welcome relief to my stress filled days. I first came here because I had a tech question - that was five years ago but my post count isn't all that high for the length of my membership. it's not a concern for me and maybe I'm wrong but it seems to be your main concern.

Over the years I come and go in spurts of frequent to seldom......due to time and availability. I love this forum mostly because its stable and well established and of course there's some very useful info here and the freedom to ask questions and get opinions from a lot of diverse people. I've become friendly with some people here like Giselle, Knight13, Steve, Ed, Stephanie, Jim, Coldf1re, Chris etc.....in the past year, because they're open and friendly but the reason I kept coming back in the beginning was because of Tim S. the owner, I will never forget his kindness to me. I was a newbie - not to the internet but to understanding the terminology and trends of it back then. Tim helped me realize I wasn't an idiot - just a little green.

I really respect this forum and the education, and the friends, it's given me and I would not want them to change these "rules" because then it becomes uptight and less freedom to just be silly and laugh or play games. I don't understand why are you against this? Does everything have to have a purpose to be "counted" as a post? Have you ever heard of the musical story "THE POINT" by Harry Nilsson? It's a musical telling of the story of a boy - Oblio who lives in The Pointed Village, a town of pointy headed people whose law is that everyone and everything MUST have a point. Oblio is the only one without a pointed head. He is banished to the pointless forest and there he meets all kinds of creatures..... one tells him. "You don't have to have a point to have a point". Get it? So why not let this forum's rules be? Why not just let freedom reign here?

I did not open anything up. I came, I saw, I reacted.... to YOUR thread title and YOUR initial posts. If you wanted to close the subject of the thread you created there are several ways to do that here.

I didn't see that. what I did see was someone complaining about something very petty in a forum that's very dear to me. You're entitled to your opinion of course...just as I'm entitled to give mine. But if you can't take the negative response then just unsubscribe to the thread

Quite true, hey moonwalker, if you want to be heard (there's nothing else you wanted, an assumption), posts something that worth for it. Be creative man. Don't be such a s*ssy, rants out loud like a woodpecker.

Just why don't you made yourself comfortable here. And why you have to felt that way. I like "Slap person above you" games. That's really cool, it's fun and been fun there too, I do like it. I like posting Even it's the same thread as long as it's cool.

Back to General Discussion, if there's a thread that interest me, tempts me to post there, then I will. No need to hurry, or worry, you don't need it. What's matter is bring something kool that senseful. Like,...apple pies. Jk, lol.
