Well, if the names changing, I hope that a new theme design is in the works to match the logo background at least.... I got so used to webmaster-talk that the transition will be bumpy at first, but I can understand the desire to rebrand and get the "dash" out of the long name & go with a shorter brand name.
To be honest though, the name sounds like the forums will be shifting more to focus on actual Businesses / Marketing / Public Relations areas now. Weeding out more of the noobs and targeting the more experienced and seasoned users.
Of course, that's just my first thoughts... I am curious to see what it looks like once it all comes together & the changes are done though

Huh. Were I the owner I wouldn't use an origami whale as my logo and call it a fish. I wouldn't use the word tycoon in anything, for that matter. Besides that, Webmaster-Talk is an established brand that could be augmented but shouldn't be messed with, IMHO.
By the by, as a longstanding member, I object to all of my uploaded files being batch deleted without so much as a heads up. Sure, you can do it, you own the site, you have the right, but surely you'd want to show just a bit more respect to those of us who've been here awhile, to actually make us want to stay?
And what happened to the "View Forum Leaders" link? Are the forum leaders now unapproachable?

Nope. Curiously, everything I uploaded from May 2008 and prior is there, and everything after that's gone. And the links to all of them, there or not, are gone, which cripples the "This is not a scam!" game, which, if you look at the page views has been pretty popular. Sure, the games aren't why we're here, but a popular diversion does keep members around.

Serandfae can you point us to a link where there's a missing attachment so we can debug?

While a transition is obviously underway, there may be some difficulties/bugs which arise. Please do not assume that these are intentional or meant as an offense to the members, but do let us know so that the appropriate attention can be given to the particular issue. As many of us are coders, we are familiar with changes not going exactly the way we intended, despite the best of intentions.
There are many exciting and positive changes coming to the forums which will make the forums better than ever before, so please bear with us while the transition is implemented.
As always, if you have suggestions for forum improvements, please use the suggestions forum.
For those wishing to find more details, it is my understanding that, rather soon, an announcement will be posted in the News and Announcements forum, so you may want to keep an eye there. (Please correct me if I'm wrong, Admin.)
