Chinese Spring Festival is coming, if possible, would you like to have a try to experience a spring festival to have a close touch with Chinese Culture?

Chinese New Year or Spring festival is one of the important events of the Chinese holidays. Do you have any idea on how to celebrate Spring Festival? Why is it called Lunar new Year? Thanks.

in my country, we got all worldwide culture and its holiday for lunar new year. i like wearing red dress when celebrate it (even tho im not chiness)

yes, of course, Chinese Spring festival is the most important and traditional one among all the Chinese festivals. If you don't get an Spring Festival experience, you will lose the real meaning of the Chinese culture. That is "family".

if possible you can try to celebrate it it is really very interestinng the spring festival is the first largest festival for chinese during there are many interesting activities it is also a chance for chinese family to get Reunion

I guess you haven't been to China in Spring Festival, there are lots of delicious food including Spring Rolls, and there are lots of traditional activities like Dragon Dance, very attractive. I visit one of my friend's house, i was deeply impressed by the atmosphere there. i am planing to do it again. Very interesting.

really funny , all the whole family will have a large party together .
and also can meet so many friends outside in our hometown .

Nearest I've been is in Chinatown in Manchester for the spring festival, great fun though and certainly no shortage of food

err im just ok with chiness food but i cant use chopsticks well
