But do you guys tend to trend in different directions, too? Sometimes I can't play games at all and I read a lot or I find a new TV series to watch through. I'll even start some kind of a project to help myself pass time. I'll go on trends of watching a lot of movies, taking extra long walks, or re organizing just because I like the change. I'll spend a few days' time just fiddling with my guitar, too.
Does anyone else follow trends or have a hard time sticking to one form of entertainment for a long time?

This is a problem with "modern life", everyone expects to be "entertained" all the time.
Television and video games are NOT entertainment, they are merely distractions.
You need to learn how to relax first not chase after the next thing to "entertain" you.
I do not have a TV, just a "media box" and big monitor that I can watch things of MY choice on.
The latest shenanigins in [insert name of 'soap'] are of absolutely no interest, the plethora of "talent(less) shows" pass me by, banal (or lower) "game" shows simply escape notice and "reality shows" well let's not even go there!
I have no video games consoles (hand held or otherwise). I listen to music during the day (radio or my own collection or if I happen to be working) and sometimes I play an audio book or read.
Now if this makes me sound "old fashioned" then I am very glad that I am, because I am not in the slightest bit bored or "stressed out" with life.
