Last night i went to cinema with my girlfriend, we watched Love and Other Drugs, it's a nice movie. After we back home i suddenly realized that all the movie my girlfriend chose are good and most films i chose are bad in past days, how come? I saw the trailer!
How you guys choose movie? Trailer? ROTTEN TOMATOES? Any suggestions will be appreciated.

It's probably because, in common with most men, you are a complete blithering idiot at choosing such things. Just ask your girl friend I'm sure she'll agree with my diagnosis

I learnt long ago the best way is it make it seem like her choice in the first place. She will still know that you are an idiot but at least you had the upper hand for a few seconds

well, it depends of your like. You can't appreciate any movie if you doesn't have any interest in it.

I watch promos first then check out the director and cast. sometimes I even check the popularity of movie on imdb then decide to watch them in cinema otherwise I watch online.

As you said , i think you and your gf have different interests about films , you have your choice , she have hers , you each other should understand each other .

Nope, you misunderstand here. What i said "bad" above there i meant the movie was true "bad", even "bad" to me! The trailer is not honest enough, i would say, like last time we saw "Seasons of The Witch", dumbest movie forever!!!

It depends. If the movie is lil slow and pyscho. I drink few cocktails and watch alone. If it is a comedy, I watch it with friends..
If it is a boring movie.. I HAVE to watch with my Girl Friend.. poor me...

btw..i really think that my bf idiot too for most thing. seriously!!!!! he can make me mad with only 3 words!! ZzZzz

luckly he **** good at math, numbers, accounting or anything with pc.

Me and my boyfriend used to watch movies at least twice a month. We love Jet Li movies and Jackie Chan because they are both really amazing. I remember that we watch the movie forbidden kingdom and we had a great bonding together. I just realize that we both love to watch action and comedy movies.

It's really hard to know about a movie, even with well known actors and a director, reviews, Rotten Tomatoes, because it has fooled me and was tremendously disappointed.

One either has to spend the money and go to the Cinema or wait for the movie to come out for rental.
