Today, I got paid so I thought to myself.. yay I can get the things ive been needing..

So, Off I went to Halfords.

Bought myself a new Bike lock & some mats for my car.

I read the car mat description and apparently it matches my cars mat locks on the floor as its designed for my car!

Whoohoo.

Off I go, New mats and a nice new lock. All comes to ~£50

Get home..
Find that the mats dont actually fit

So I go back, Only to find out that they have to order the "correct" ones in as sometimes these things dont match what they are meant to match ..

That will be another £5 please

Ok so I pay up and wait for a call sometime next week.

~£55 now..

I then get home to sort my bike out and get the lock attached to the frame.. Only to find out that the **** KEYS!!!! are missing

So,

Now im at home.
With no Mats , a Bikelock that doesnt open and ~£55 lighter for the experience.

TY Halfords. Im not impressed.
Maybe I should of ripped the packaging apart on both before buying just to check?

Just thought id share my day.

It was meant to be one of those.. Ill pay you now and ill have my stuff now please type of purchases...( Rather than an internet one and wait a day or two )

Their CS dept may get a call.. All depends how my visit tomorrow goes and if I dont get any hassle getting a new lock with a key!

yeah I'm always let down with those kinds of trips... never find what I want... so now I tend to stick to internet shopping... it has the added benefit of letting me stay at home...

Halfords are my biggest competitor, They have millions to spend on advertising... This is why people go to them....

I have had 3 calls from Halfords today asking if I have certain items in stock as they have messed up a customers order.

Halfords incompetence is my gain...
