No one can say what will happen in a month. Everything they predict is speculation about predecessors.
I think this is pointless....however I guess if they predict enough things they will get some right and then called themselves prophets!

Are you studying plate tectonics? Or just a passing interest?

Hey, if continents can drift for millions and millions of years, it shouldn't be such an annoyance if we do it for a few minutes or hours.
If I am remembering my science books from high school correctly, the Atlantic Ocean gets about three inches wider every year due to seafloor spreading, which would mean every 21,120 years it gets a mile wider. So if that's all true then in another 147,840,000 years the two oceans would be about the same size, and the next dominant species on the planet will be digging us up and putting us on display in museums. And everything they know about us will have been gathered from what they dug up from our landfills.

I wonder what they'll make of the hundreds of thousands of AOL CDs, probably still with the remnants of the envelope attached?
or the partially decomposed straw donkey, still wearing a hat? You know the one! Your gran brought you it back from a Spanish holiday.

In all honesty, I doubt there will be much left of the human race in 700 years.
Our planet will become less habitable with climate change ( maybe? )
Our resources will be depleted or at least easy to mine ones will be.
I think unless we can go mine some asteroid's or the moon, we are pretty much screwed.
If we want oil then our next best bet from earth is titan where it pretty much rains the stuff.
Without oil, we have no mass producible petroleum, wax, plastic, etc.
While all 3 and others can be made from plants, It takes a lot of actually edible food / land to do this.
So, less food or less of the stuff we use daily?
I think people will stay with food and tbh i think we will be back in the olde days before we know it.
Wood will become the material of choice once again.
Populations will dwindle and the economy will crash.
We are all doomed and lucky for me, I wont get to see it. yay
Well, At least until the next time our universe comes round and im posting this same **** post again.
Infact why am I even bothering to post? Surely ive done this an infinite number of times before..

So far as dwindling resources go, I predict that mining of landfills for resources, including fuel, will happen in my lifetime. No need to go off-planet for that.

I don't think so. The humans are an evolving race and the future humans will have a larger brain and lesser hair than the present..

But you'll be the last of your line unless you breed. (With your own species! )

With a determined effort, I might be able to breed enough to preserve blond genes forever! Plan: (1) become world's top SEO'er, (2) send my pharma sites to the top of serps, (3) become mega-rich, (4) hire immense harem, (5) leave thousands of progeny with blond genes.
