I have big problems with using my mobile phone in my summer house. It is very weak and sometimes I can't hear the caller. I understand that the place is very far from the tower but still - any ideas on improving the signal?

Dont waste time and money on amplifiers. Switch to another network. try out some, like asking your neighbors or asking them to check their signals in your house!
