It's like a war in my computer room. They keep getting in some how and it's hard to kill them. I resorted to using a can of axe and a lighter but not only does it stink up the place but it's hazardous to my many flammable chemicals in this room that for some reason are in here.

Do you have any safer ways of getting rid of flies?

Try getting a fly-swat. It's cheap, easy to use and really works.

Turn the A/C way down....the cold air slows them down....
Then "SWAK!"...another one bites the dusk....

I do know that..
You can attract more flies with honey than you can with vinegar.....

)))

Put some honey (sweet and sticky) in a soda bottle.......they fly in.....and get trapped....

(my next suggestion would involve explosives).....

Got to ask though. WHY would any sane person keep flammable materials in a computer room.

I mean, the two things you do NOT want in a computer room are fire and liquids

I have flammable liquids near my computer...
In a glass with ice cubes.....

But I quit smoking....thus no open flames......

It's where I store my gas cans x.x My garage is too full of metal for some reason. I tried turning the A/C down but then I started going numb >_>

Go to a feed store....bet they have one in Texas....
Buy some of those curly fly traps...they work...

Don't touch the sticky part.....yuk!!

The fly swat is good. I used one too but I dont like the smell of the burnt flies. Its not too much but the unpleasant odor is there.
