Im in the middle of revamping my site. It is an information site, but Im going to offer the opportunity for advertisers to sponsor categories for a small fee.
Many advertisers can sponsor 1 category, although only 1 link will be dispalyed on each category.
Im looking a 3 options.
OPTION 1
The first is a daily rate. Say for example 5 cents a day for the link to be displayed. With this option all links would be rotated. Onl
OPTION 2
A fixed rate per click. For example, 10 cents per click.
OPTION 3
A dynamic rate. Advertisers can choose how much they are prepared to pay for each link shown. If another sponsor has a higher rate per click, then your link will not be displayed until the other sponsors account reaches a balance of $0
I want this to be the best option for the advertiser, rather than the best income option for me.
If you were looking at doing this on a site and had a choice, what would you do??
