Is it just me, or does the internet seem very slow over the last couple of days? I'm on broadband both at work and at home, but the connections seem slower than my old 28k modem. I have also noticed an unusually high number of servers going down recently. Are the bugs getting on top?

Could be, I have cable and sometimes it is very slow too.

You could have been experiencing problems because of the recent virus problems. They must be downing a lot of servers and saturating links.

Personally I haven't noticed any major problems with my connection, in fact it's probably been better over the last few weeks than it was at the beginning of the summer.

The past couple days internet speed had seemed a little slower than usual for me also, but today seems pretty much normal

David is probably right with his assumption though (as always) .

My 56k has been running as usual, in the past few days, it has even seemed a little faster.

I am still stuck on 36K sadly.

And it has been slow as usual.

Seems to have picked up over the last day or two. Hopefully it was just a blip and not a sign of things to come! Once you get used to a speedier connection you can't go back.
