I'm planning to get 30 websites to sponsor and put down money for a project of mine, but it is an unusual sponsorship, because they don't get any details of my project, the site, the content, type of site, ect. All they get is the estimated profits, estimated traffic, and the type of people my site appeals to (and of course, the sponsors will be the type of sites that the people who go to my site will be interested in.) They won't even know the domain name - and in the contract it will be titled as . .com.
So what do they get in return for their sponsoring me? They get life time promotion and advertisement on my site - 30 sites(sponsors), 2 sponsors displayed each day. For life.
Included in the contract i'll have to have, it will say that the advertisement \ promotion is life time, and that if I ever choose to sell the site, their contract will be included in the new contract to the company I sell too, meaning the company I sell to must keep the 30 sites advertised and promoted for life if they want to buy my very valuable site. (it'll be in the contract) - so if I sell the site and the sponsors get screwed out of their life time advertising - they can sue me, and I can sue the company I sold to.
The contract will also say that I will provide full proof and documentation of the promised $75,000 spent in paid advertising - this ensures each sponsor knows for sure that they are going to be on a site getting a lot of traffic. $75,000 in paid advertising in a 3 month time period is a lot. Plus it ensures they aren't going to be spending money on a site getting no traffic.
what I need to know is - how much is getting the contracts wrote up and legalized and all that going to cost, and what all do I need to do to get the ball rolling? I need to get 30 sponsors to put down $15,000 so I can get $300,000 for my project.
