I didn't know where to post this, so if a mod thinks it would be better somewhere else would be cool if they move it..
In my directory i have started putting affiliate banners in some of the catagories, and thought about selling banner space also.
But i really don't know what to charge for the banner space. The banners would appear at the top of the catagory, and would only appear in the relevant catagories..
So does anyone have a suggestion about what to charge for this banner space?
Should i charge different rates based on the catagory?
(ie the sport/basketball catagory would be less than the personal_finance/credit cards catagory)
The directory gets 3500 visits a day with about 300 unique.
