Looks like a good plan so far. How many domains and mysql databses are you going to offer with each package? Thats a big one for me personally.

Nobody can tell you how to setup your packages. You need to look at your business plan, your target audience, your overall expenses and your projected income and design the packages based on that. Figure out how much margin you want to make and price your packages around it.

Anacrusis maybe you have right...because nobody answer about that..

Btw how many "normal" websites can handle this baby without overload it?
Does anyone know?

No one can really answer that either. It depends on the types of sites. The types of pages served and the amount of DB usage.

Anoter big limitation is the size of the connection. The fastest system in the world can only feed data based on the size of the connection.

At some point you are going to have to figure your weakest link and base your prices on what you need and what is left over to sell.

Where will the server be located? And how many megabits of connection will you have?

What is "normal" ? Just static webpages ? At this configuiration probably will host several thousands of requests per second or more .... is just wonderful for start.

In time probably the database will migrate to other computers.

It is a good start ... your configuration and linux.

Anyway what distribution you will use ?

Regards
Adrian

100% use debian ...
you can upgrade / downgrade the entire system very easy with 2 commands or any other system based on debian (Ubuntu for example). I used for more than 50 systems and is working without ANY problem. Is not so very user friendly for desktop use (like mandriva or whatever) but for server is a beauty ...
