What are the best employment sites online? Has anyone here found a job online before?

Other than freelance work. Employment.

I got a Moster.com account last night and posted a some information.

That never worked for me. All I got was a crap load of spam from the work force place around my town. Temp. companies of the wazoo!

I tried Monster but tbh I think the best place to look for a job is offline. Online job sites I find are useless.

Try the Oregon employment department. They have a lot of listings, updated fairly regularly. I found a job through them once.

I've had good results with Monster.com. I think it works well for specialized technical jobs that stand out from the general ones. Another one I like is computerjobs.com.

Yep. I found my job online. Monster.com to be more precise. That was 5 years ago during the good Clinton years when the engineering job market was booming.

well i am in Australia and i use JobSearch, infact i found my current job through a online job search :P

Try your local employment agency. Most have online sites where you can review what jobs are out there. If you are moving you can look up the county employment agency online, I did that when I relocated and it worked. Good Luck!

yeah online employment is kinda useless, its hard to get a decent job.

There are tons of job boards online that can lead to employment. Every single legitimate job I've ever had was obtained from the website http://www.craigslist.com This website has literally a wealth of information. You have to be careful, just as with any other job board like Monster or Career Hunter, but with persistence and patience you'll find employment. It's the same with searching for jobs offline; my advice is to do a little of both, and hopefully you'll come up with something great

It's really a matter of what sort of job you'd like to do. If you go to Google, and just run a generic search of job boards, you are bound to find something! What industry do you want to find a job in? Clerical, Administrative, Medical, Sales, etc. etc. etc...?
