I don't worry about the cost of fuel too much, my bike does 100 miles to the gallon. Put £6 of petrol in it and that lasts me a week. (20+ miles/day)
Sometimes put Shell Optimax in it, makes it go a little faster.

That wouldn't solve anything, unless there is an infinate supply under there..

I think it's better if we stop burying out heads in the sand and come up with some kind of realistic solution to decreasing oil.

I guess I can't complain too much no matter the cost. I work from home so there's not exactly a commute and I live in a town where it's often faster to get around on a bike than in a car. I can't even remember the last time I filled my tank. Might be over a month since I have.

In Buffalo it's the average is $3.03 a gallon. My husband knows a guy that owns a junk yard and is offering us gas that comes out of junkers for $1 a gallon....but I'm afraid to put it in my car because you never know what else is in it. It wouldn't be worth saving $20 if it does $200 dollars in damage to my car.

Chroder's cost is per liter in Canada too. Fort Erie, Ontario is just across the river from me and they are about the same price as Toronto or I would be crossing the Peace Bridge to fill up my tank.
