Does anyone know where or how to file a warning message to consumers regarding a company's cancellation policy? Does anyone think a company should charge a cancellation fee and on top of that a prorated fee to cancel their services when they did nothing to set you up, other than give you a password and allow you to use photos from their website to add to your website, which anyone has access to?

I think that if they specified this before you signed up, even in fine print, that although it may be a poor business practice it is legal therefore the burden of paying does fall on you.

Thank you for your reply.

The company states, no fees for cancellation then in another breathe says you must give 45 days notice of cancellation or purchase something.

What happens within the 45 days of your cancellation if you have not order something you will be charged $49.00 for the month, which was understood. However the prorated fees are no where in the agreement which ends up being another charge of $35.93 (for 15 additional days) Making a total of 45 days - then they cancel you. People should be aware that they will end up paying over $80.00 to cancel. The company tells you that you can always order something and that will cover the charges.

Is there some way of warning others of this poor practice or should the subject just be left alone?

Their Termination Policy:
("Either party may terminate the agreement at will by providing 45 days written notice to the other party by regular mail or fax to the current address on record of their intent to cancel. All terms of this agreement will remain in full force and effect until the actual cancellation date").
