Hey

I've been collecting used bus and train tickets for about a 1.5 years now, and have approx 500.

However I only have ones from Brisbane, Australia .

Would anyone be interested in trading some bus, train, tram or another type of transport tickets with me???

Blimey I have a stash of old UK bus tickets from the 70's in a box somewhere, I'm just a horder and keep lots of stuff

are you joking. 500 bus cads would take a fair while to scan.

Ill give it a try oneday but.

And i was thinking of making a website for bus ticket collecters, it would be the first of its kind.

design agencies and bureaus offer scanning facilities at very reasonable prices. they could bulk scan them in and you could easily make a gallery/website of them.

seems to be interest in it on here. not sure i see the appeal myself though!

hehe yeah, it would take a while to scan them all in, but it would be cool.

I see some of them have magstripes, pick yourself up a mag reader and see what on those. There is this one program I'm fond of called StripSnoop you can find it at http://stripesnoop.sf.net

You can pick up a reader for cheap nowadays, around $2.00 usually.

I cant find and $2 readers, chepest ones i can see are are around $30

AllElectronics.com had some for $2, not sure if they still do.

I have a reader I can sell you for $2 but I don't know how much it would cost to ship it to you since I'm in the US.

Have you checked ebay? I'll have a look around the net and see what I can find.

Yeah i had a look at all electonics.com and ebay but couldnt see one in my price range.

I'll try lookin in an electronics store next time i see one.
