Is anyone else annoyed with the ever popular Myspace for any reason?

You are definitely not alone in this one. My little sister and my best friend keep asking me to sign up so I did and wish I hadn't.

I'm ashamed to admit that I'm a member. :-\ I mainly did it just so I could have it, as I do many things... haha. I hate it mainly because of the fact that it has so many problems, and that it's coded in Coldfusion. hahahaha

Overall, I think it's okay... I'm not one of the scenesters that spend hours a day on it, though. I take maybe 5 minutes a day to check blogs and new pictures, but that's about it.

Where was I going with this? hahahaha

I'm guessing almost every teen has a myspace account by now...if not then im sure they will get one. I thought it was boring at first but i think its ok. I mean its a good way for communication and to find more friends... but yea i have to agree that sometimes it is annoying. overall i like it depending on my mood.

It's annoying how people 'jazz up' their pages and and make them really irritating to use and it's annoying how I get millions of messages which are just bands trying to promote themselves...

But these things can be avoided simply by not going to MySpace.

I know giving everyone a chance to own a piece of the web has its benifits but it deprives the hard work we web developers go through!

I hate myspace with a passion too. But one thing I have noticed is that a lot of your local bands will getogether and use myspace as their website to promote themselves. Gotta admit, they're using a good resource for free advertising.

I supose "Tom" has made himself money but he sold to an company owend by rupert murdoch for 58 million or around that mark.
