I don't know about you but when I see something described as "cheap" I tend to steer well clear. With everything in life you get what you pay for and if you want quality you should be looking to pay the right price.

What are your thoughts on "cheap"?

It depends what you're looking for. If you're looking for a pen that you know you'll probably loose before it runs out, buy cheap!

Agreed about buying pens but what about things like traffic and templates?

Yes, I also steer clear of "cheap" if I'm hoping for any kind of quality.

Agreed. Pens are one thing but traffic, templates. Thats another ball game. I have bought "cheap" traffic before and I won't do it agian. Most recently I bought traffic for $1.95 for 1k in test hits. I got 50 hits and the site has been down since. Its hard to find a stand up traffic broker.

In most cases "cheap" means just that.

Yep, "traffic" is a very grey area. Sure you can buy 10,000 "hits" but in the main the traffic is not targetted so you end up with any Tom Dick or Harry at your site - result 99.9% of them aren't interested in your site and you just burn your data transfer up

Cheap traffic is always untargeted and of no potential use. You just end up wasting your resources in the process. I think in most cases the rule 'you get what you pay for' applies very well.

It would depend on the product if it being described as cheap would make me steer clear.

Maybe it's only semantics, but I disagree that cheap traffic is of "no potential use". The potential is that everyone that visits could become a client/buyer. However, the probability may be very very low.
