Hi,all
when you type a URL,do you use the 'www' or not? Which are you more likely to use when visiting a site? I think it is worthy of discussion.'cause a url with "www" and the same url without "www" have different rank values in some cases, you see.

when i type a URL i don't include a www , Just for speed.. (i really nned that 0.3 seconds it saves)

From an seo standpoint, You should impliment a 301 redirect so everyone gets sent to the same place,, Regardless if they include a www or not..

I'm the same. I generally won't type www though I do redirect my sites with a 301 to point the non www to the www. I think the www is just convention, though which way the redirect goes isn't really important as long as both urls lead to the same place.

yep, doesn't matter which you use, just as long as you ensure it is consistent by using a 301 to the other version.

I'm on the same page as everyone else here - I don't type the www and use a 301 to get everyone to the same place.

On a .com address - I use the Ctrl + Enter a lot. Otherwise I skip typing the www and then add it if I get failed request.

There was no reason to have to include the www except that the poster needed something to say in order to push their signature link.

I hate www.

Don't see why it should be necessary.
