I had to say it - I wouldn't be able to live with him if I didn't acknowledge his 16th birthday here

.

Old enough to drive

Taller than his mother & father

But still very much loved and appreciated

He turns 16 today, spends tomorrow evening with family, has a beach party Saturday, then leaves home for 5 days (for JROTC summer camp) on Sunday....his social calendar sure is booked!

I remember being 16 (just about), From what i remember it's a lot of fun..
It means your old enough to know better, But young enough to not care and be able to get away with it

Don't get too upset with mom. Things like this are the kind of things moms do and the kind of things you'll be glad they do a few years down the line.

You're lucky she remembered

Everyone forgets my birthday (Dec 30th). Everyone gets caught up with Christmas, and then new years. Then if they did remember, I always got ripped off for gifts, "Oh that's your Christmas present and your birthday present!".
