What is your favorite FireFox Extension?

Hello All --
I don't know about you, but I'm finding more than one FireFox extension to be absolutely essential in my work, so I thought we could have a fun vote on them here, then discuss how we use them.
I'm pretty sure the Web Developer extension by Chris Pederick will score high -- and you know, it's quite extensive. I have some favorite uses of it like exposing the CSS structure of a page with color outlines via "Outline Block Level Elements", but there is a lot more you can do including editing CSS and HTML.
Ok. So take the poll, and let's discuss our favorites and how they help us.
Yours -
Scott

I used to love the greasemonkey plugin, I made a social bookmarking script that used a greasemonkey user script, But i got bored and never finished it.. I might dig it out and carry on with it next week.
At the moment i don't have any pugins that i use on a regular basis.

I like a lot and I mean a lot of extensions. I'm such an extension junky and probably have something like 65 enabled at any given time. By far my favorite though is thw web developer toolbar. I couldn't live without it anymore. In fact I can't even understand why any web developer who uses Firefox wouldn't have it installed.
I wrote a couple of blog posts about my favorite developer extensions and seo extensions. Seems like it was necessary if you write a technical blog of any kind. I'll probably write a post about some of my favorite other extensions as well one day.

My current extension list: - Tab Mix Plus - Because I always accidentally close tabs

- Fasterfox - Just an easier way to fine tune the memory usage
- Web Developer - Yes, it does rock! I use it daily.
- IE View - Not IE Tab, IE View
I like to open an actual IE window when required
- BugMeNot - Logging in without signing up -- use it almost daily. Especially useful when companies require you to log in before downloading demo software
- Add N Edit Cookies - Hardly ever use it. Main reason is to test possible security holes in serverside software
- SpellBound Development - Honestly, I think it sucks compared to something like ieSpell, but it's all they've got for FF at the moment.
I also use the Firefox Preloader to make FF start up in a snap.

Actually I don't care / use FF except for javascript debugging.
However - what is this Web Developer thing??

Yeah, my fave extention used to be the WebDev toolbar. But since the one came out for IE, I've got no real reason to use Firefox any more except to test pages in it...

I have the developer toolbar for IE, but don't like it as much as the one for Firefox It's still pretty good though I also added a web accessibility toolbar for IE which duplicates some of the functionality of the other, but also has some features of it's own.
Chroder I think we use many of the same extenstion. I like Tab Mix Plus, but for whatever reason after a day the undo closed tab stopped working and now I can't get that functionality to work with any extension. I really miss it too since I all to often close a tab too soon. I think it was just an incompatibilty with another extension and I just need to uninstall and reinstall, but I've been too lazy.
I don't use the add n edit cookies that much either though do use cookie culler to get rid of all the cookies that build up over the course of the day.
CSS Viewer is pretty cool way to check the css of various page elements quickly and I also prefer IE View to IE Tab. I also use the Opera View extension. I used to use BugMeNot, but thought it hadn't been updated for the latest versions of Firefox though maybe I need to look again.

Hi All --
Hey thanks for an interesting discussion. Learned about some new tools. If any of you are "BlogMasters", you might like to check out the "Performancing" extension -- it really helps you speed up the blogging process, among other things.
Hmmm... seems like we have IE versus FireFox boiling in the background. I wonder if FireFox is still ahead of IE in terms of the power of thier extensions?
Yours -
Scott

Colorzilla's great - allows you to, well, pick colours. Saves a lot of time.
Fasterfox - a nice little tool.
The "Seo's toolbar", including alexa rank, inbound links, a nice context menu and of course the green bar
Google notebook - terrible. Install it and you'll see why. They seem to have tried to be clever, using a mixture of layers and AJAX when they could've done a proper extension. Avoid.
Searchpluginhacks - lets you delete search engines from top right.
And of course IEtab, great for cross browser checking or when FF doesn't do the job!
Chroder, thanks for letting me know about bugmenot - but I can't find an extension that's compatible.
Oh and of course stumbleupon! If you procrastinate, steer clear! Luckily, mine's been broken for some time...

Hey... good to hear from you all -
What about Codetch? I have not used it yet (going to test it this week), but I have heard that some folks (read reviews) like it almost as much as DreamWeaver?
Anybody have some insight?

I think I had it Codetech installed at some point, but never used it. I don't use WYSIWYG features at all so it wasn't really necessary for me. It looked ok though and is certainly a lot cheaper than DreamWeaver.
