What is your computer area like?

Here's mine:

At my computer area I have:

- USB Cup Warmer
- 5.1 Sound System
- 32" LCD TV
- 2 Computers
- 1 Laptop
- Lots of LED Flashy Sound Activated lights
- Flashy mousepad
- Portable Fridge
- Freeview box
- Wireless Router
- X-box 360
- Laserpod

TV will be wallmounted soon but might send it back because there is a manufacturing error with the DVI port (falsely advertised as a HDMI port).

Hmmm... well I don't have just one...
In my room I have:
- my main comp
- 5.1 surround
- lava lamp
- plasma ball
- 8 port switch connected to the rest of the house
- USB Cradles for my Sat-Nav PDA and phone
- USB Card reader

Then in our living room we have:
- My dual processor server
- Networked colour laser printer
- Wireless router & cable modem
- Another 8 port switch
- Sega Mega drive & master system

All the cableing in my house is done properly, each floor has it's own 8 port switch and each room has it's own RJ45 port on the wall I was considering putting in a small phone system and giving each room it's own telephone & extention number, but it wasn't really worth the effort cos we all use mobiles.

Galaxian, how the hell do you get any serious work done?
I could be jealous, but I'm not. Too much distraction.
I just have the armchair, table for tea-cups, and the radio...
Works just fine for me...
Nick.

How do you guys get anything done in such a clean & uncluttered environment???

I'm not going to take a pic of my desk and show you the piles and piles on it, but I know where everything is and just don't have the time to actually file it. I have at least 30 things going on at once, plus all the household stuff, you know, bills, report cards, etc.

Nope, there's definately no way I would be able to think with all that empty space around me .

My computer room resembles Doc's lab from back to the future.

The floor is covered in wires and motherboards and most of the time i dont even know what computer im using it's so messy here, Last week i counted 36 empty Dr Pepper cans. I'm most productive in chaos.

You're all making me jealous. My main computer is a laptop and my workspace alternates between my coffee table and naturally enough my lap.

I did have a room here dedicated to some computers, but I've temprorarily donated that room to store a lot of a freinds belongings who's temporarily without a place to store them herself.

The desk and equipment is now crowding my bedroom and not where I want to work.

My Disco work area was blown up in a storm. Both computers lost, TV in repair, and replaced router.

But now I have bought an Alienware which I am moderately happy with.

Let the rebuilding commence!

Gee! You guys have it made.

I have to share my space with the wife.

We have two killer 700 mhz computers with less than a gig of combined ram, a 13" TV, AM radio and enough d*#@) paper stacked around to fill that filing cabinet if I ever find the time.
