I am looking for an IRC script. Not a client, but a browser based IRC script. It would be nice to be able to configure it multiple channels and also not have that "famous" java applet warning in front of it.

Should contact your host and ask them if you can use it though, Most hosts don't allow CGI IRC scripts.

For good reason, web-based chat script can be very very server intensive and are usually slow (for the end user). I really would recommend using a Java applet like PJIRC.
