Just sitting here watching "Something Completely Different" and I got to thinking about what my favorite Python stuff is.

I think I like the Silly Walks skit the best, and I know that my favorite Python Movie is Holy Grail.

What are your Favorites?

Life of Briain is my favorite Monty Python movie. My favorite skit is probably either the dead parrot one or the silly walks one.

My favorite monty python movie is the life of Brian, Really depicts religion well.
"He's not the messiah, He's a very naughty boy"

Favorite bit of a python movie is the "run away, run away" bit in the holy grail.
It got me out of many a kicking when i was at school..

Yep, Just saw the dead parot skit again today and loved it as much as ever. Also saw the Lumberjack Song again and couldn't stop laughing.

I go back and forth all the time on which is funnier Holy Grail or Life of Brian. I think Grail starts to drag a little at the end and Brian is more consistent, but the first half of Grail is really good and I've probably committed most of it to memory. Hard call though.

So many skits too. My favorite is one I've only seen once. It was of the two older ladies watching tv. The penguin on the telly ones. I've seen lots of them, but this one particular skit only once. The only way I can describe it is to launch into some dialog.

"This program is made for idiots"
"But we are idiots"
"How do you know you're an idiot"

Cut to next scene where to prove she's an idiot she nails her hand to the back of a truck just as it pulls out and drags her away.

It's probably my favorite since I've only seen it the one time.

Life of Brian is my faveorite film... not sure on any particular part though. I like the haggleing scene... but one of the best has to be the Joke Name scene...

That haggling scene is great. I also like when they're trying to out down the Romans, but end up listing all their accomplishments instead.

My favorite movie is Holy Grail. My favorite skit is Upper Class Twit of the Year. ("And Nigel has run HIMSELF over! What an incredible twit!") You can practically see the venom flowing out of that one.

That's from Holy Grail when Arthur tried to get the French to help him find the grail only to find them rather uncooperative.

Monty Python, because I haven't seen the others. I love the part where the king is walking through where all these village people are, and this one makes him mad, and he starts strangling him, and the village man is like "help, help! I'm being repressed (or something)". The king stops, and the village man is like, "Did you see him repressing me? You saw it, didn't you?!" I LOVE THAT!!

I like meaning of life. So few people pick that one...but I like how its broken up into the life stages etc. The restaurant scene is priceless, as well as the "P*n*s" song.

In Monty python there is a sketch where John Cleese is sitting at a news desk in the water at the beach and the waves keep drenching him. the other is when a gentleman goes in to an interview and keeps getting contradicted,he really wanted the insult room down the hall. or the doctor"good morning ten pence,how are you 20 pence,please sit down,30 pence,what can i do for you 40 pence.
