What name for a small housing community on the ocean do you like the most out of these four (also add you own if you want)?

i like "village by the sea".

Not a big fan of the word, "village" in reference to a community. I dont know why, but when I hear it, I associate it with the smurfs...

I liked the village in the name, so residents could be part of the village people! I didn't think of the smurfs, but if alot do, then I don't like that name anymore. LoL!

The first one, definately. 2 & 3 sound too villagy (yes that is a word. Okay, no it's not), and the last sounds a bit... foreign.

By the way, which community? What are you all talking about?!

"Ocean Bay at Tybee" sounds nice.. I'd like to live there.

Charter Oaks.
There was a... well i'll say it... there was a psychiatric facility i was staying in for about 5 days, called charter oak.... and i always though that charter oaks would sound better, and would be a great name for something like that.

"Ocean Bay at Tybee" sounds good to me. It seems like a very relaxing place.

My wife's parents own some ocean front property that they have started developing (my father-in law bought the land like 30 years ago) and they are brainstorming different name ideas. I told them I'd ask on the forums.

Ocean Bay at Tybee is my favorite as well.

seaside village.....sounds fancy!!!
