OK..
Back in the 70s...I was assigned to work with the Secret Service Presidential Protection Unit.....worked on the security detail with a unit called technical services...(I was a bomb squad commander)
I met Jimmy Carter....I met his wife and sat and talked to his mother for about 15 minutes....

Then in the 80s...I sat and talked with the senior George Bush...and met his wife Barbara.......had the opportunity to meet with him on several more occasions....we actually talked together...Got an invitation to an inauguration party in DC...

Also met Dan Quale when he was VP....

I have been invited to the Florida Governor's mansion for lunch and another time cocktails.....
Had lunch and dinner with several US Senators and Congressmen on several occasions....

Now I am just a retired old guy with a ton of info when I get around to writing a book....

Had some great times....
