techcrunch is reporting that blogspot is about to undergo it's most substantial upgrade to date. You can get a sneak peak at what this new blogger may provide by signing up at the beta version.. personally im going to wait untill users are invited to transfer thier accounts over to the new version.
I hope they looked at my what blogger needs post, Though i doubt they did.
It had become apparent that blogger was falling behind some of the more advanced free blog providers, such as wordpress, so hopefully this upgrade will provide some of the functionality that blogger was missing, and may help with the unreliability of publishing and spell checking that blogger seems to suffer from.
