Preseason is almost over. How do you feel about your favorite team? My Pats look pretty good, keep an eye on their rookie running back. The kicking situation is up in the air. What other teams look sharp? I'm keeping my eye on the Giants....

I am ready though I'm still pretty excited about baseball. I'll be rooting for both the Bronos and Giants (born in New York, but living in Colorado now) and both look pretty good and give me hope for the season.

That's only for the whole world outside of the United States. We Americans don't get that sport. Not enough scoring for us. Didn't you see how well we played a few months back during the World Cup?

I'm a Broncos fans all the way. But I am living in Texas now and the Cowboys don't look too bad. They just need to get rid of T.O. He is too much drama.

As far as American football, I'd like my Cowboys' chances a lot more if we didn't have Terrell Owens on the roster playing the role of locker room cancer.

Mind you, the NFC East is gonna be an absolute bugger to win for any of the four teams this year. Whoever does will probably only get the #3 or maybe the #2 seed and get knocked out the first playoff game they play (I'm picking the Giants here too.)

As far as soccer is concerned, I only watch the women play. I got tired of watching men's soccer when every 2 minutes someone would lie down clutching their ankle, only to be miraculously cured by a squirt from a water bottle. Dat...dat...dat must be some high-quality H2O!

Women's soccer (especially the Canadian under-20 women's team) is much more entertaining. Is it a better brand of soccer? Probably not. But when you see women pulling each other's hair and clawing at each other's eyes just to get to the ball...that's good value for the buck.
