Given that you are going to cook a special soup, and you must make both salty-taste and lite-taste people feel satisfied with the taste of your soup. Is it possible? Could you come up with a method to solve this issue? The possibility of moderate taste has been eliminated.

How about not adding the salt to the soup, but providing a salt shaker on the table so people can add what they want to suit their tastes.

You complete the soup, that means you must do the whole work, then others only taste the soup.

It is truly possible. Before I reveal the answer, is there someone here who can think it out?

Use two pots. One pot for salty-taste, one for light-taste.

And I was sure Adam had gotten it. So only one pot of soup?

Define "salty-taste" and "lite-taste". What makes a person a salty-taste person? Does that mean they like salty foods? Do lite-taste people not like salty foods?

Cook a pot of soup for lite-taste people. Sprinkle some salt to the soup for salty-taste people when you served.

Or, cook a soup that is not supposed to be salty.
For eg. tomato soup.

Me too. It didn't say we couldn't.
I think we need more clarification as to the rules.

I'm wondering if this is a trick question: So I'm going to throw a trick answer out.
The answer is...it's not possible. The stove cooks the soup. That's where the heat comes from.
We simply operate the stove and prepare the soup as per directions.

First you pour the soup into bowls for the people who don't like salt, Then add salt to the remaining soup in the pot and then serve the people who like salt with salty soup.
