Hey there... how many of you guys are acctually making money on Freelance websites or have been working on such websites?
I have worked for over 1 year for Rentacoder.com website but for the past 9-10 months I get my projects from GetaFreelancer.com . I like the GAF one better cause projects are valued much higher than on RAC ( where some duds were offering $30 max for a complete website and so on ).
I wonder how many of you people around here are working on such websites and what is your general oppinion about them.

I also found guru.com and getacoder.com but they don't seem all that suitable ...

Cornholio...it might have something to do with your name.

Pretty well any Gen-Xer will recognize a Beavis and Butthead term when they see it.

Having said that, I find that most of those sites are a complete waste of time unless you're new and trying to establish your name. I've picked up a pair of clients from them but nothing permanent and I found I did way too much for what I ended up getting paid. So I stopped and haven't regretted it.
