Has anyone had issues with 2.0 being extremely slow. It has almost proven to be useless as a browser for me now.

I've seen some reports of it being slower and I've seen reports of it being faster. I haven't upgraded myself yet, but plan to before too long. It wouldn't surprise me if your issues have to do more with which extensions you have installed. You might try disabling them all and seeing how FF responds and then enabling each one at a time to see if any is the possible cause of the problem.

My guess is over the next few weeks as the extensions are updated to work with FF 2.0 the issue will go away.

Im just running basic 2.0 with no extensions, and seems to be running fine like the older versions.

I have had some auto updates and the speed has improved. Something for people to keep in mind if you use several add-ons that 2.0 may slow down badly if you don't get updates for the add-ins.

I've been noticing 1.5 freezing up on me the last few days and my guess is the problem is with extensions that have been updated for 2.0 and I'm not using it yet.

I've been using Firefox since prior to version 1.0 and I've noticed that sometimes with each upgrade of the browser there's a few days of it not working as well as I'd like until the extensions I have installed have caught up or I get rid of the offending extension.

I can't say that's the problem here, but I'd guess it is and in a week or two things will be working fine again.

I'm using 2.0 atm and it's fine maybe slighty slower to load pages but then i do have a couple add on's, normally within a couple weeks issues get resolved and you can update bits and bobs
