Sorry, but it's now getting colder where I am and heat won't be a problem for a few months. Air conditioning is about the only thing I've ever found to help me.

You could try a trip over to mine & Steve's side of the world, even if it's only mentally. Our high temps will not even break the freezing point pretty soon. It's currently 9:38 pm and 43 f (6C)...that's actually pretty warm for this time of year. Where I live we had 2 feet of snow on October 13.

LOL Ultra.

For a practical suggestion: Take a few hand towels, get them wet and ring them out. Store twisted wet towels in the fridge or freezer in ziplock bags. When the heat starts getting to you, take one out and put it around your neck. Instant coolness.

kandi I'll be on your side of the country next week. Still a few hundred miles away, but in the same state for a week.

woosh you can move to Buffalo and in a couple of weeks you'll do anything to be wherever it's warm in the world.

You should come to London.
Our summer this year was between 2:38 and 3:12 on 15th Aug...
Apart from that it's grey and cold all the way.

Wow Dave....that's pretty chilly for this time of year in your neck of the woods isn't it?

I'll be plenty chilly on Saturday - opening day of shotgun deer season, about 10 hours in the woods with projected highs around 40 F. But that venison I bring home will be well worth it!

Steve - coming to NY for the family Thanksgiving thing? Have a great trip!

Woosh - come January/Februrary Steve is right, my city will have highs around 10-20 F.....spend a few days and even 40F is balmy!
