I am quite interested to know how many people here are students. I am a Pune University Final Year student. But as well as working here with an MNC. Just want to know who all is studying over here

Isn't that the university that runs all of those ads talking about getting your online degree from them when really it's only a piece of paper anyway? |

I'm not quite positive exactly what you mean. If you are implying that it is a degree that you just purchase without actually doing any work then I must have done all those essay's for nothing.

I didn't say you wouldn't have to do any work. I'm just saying you probably won't learn all that much, if anything at all.
That's not a remark against U of Phoenix specifically. It's a general remark against the education system.
Truth be told, I prefer the online course method. If it were around when I was of the age to attend a university, I'd have gone that route in a second rather than wasting time in classrooms waiting for the people who had no business being there to grasp a concept in an hour that took me about 2 minutes.

I certainly don't have any fantasies about what i'll be prepared for out of college. I only hope to be introduced to all the concepts of accounting, the rest I will learn on the job.

Well then for your sake, I hope you don't end up as clued-out and delusional as the fellow Accounting students I went to University of Waterloo with ended up.
(Long story, but the Cliff Notes version of it is that all of them ended up out of work and I didn't.)

I am a student. I have been working for ages to get my bachelors (Im on my sixth year). I changed my major a billion times! Right now I am just 31 credit hours away from my degree in general studies (just want to get it done) and my minor in Business Administration. The good thing about the general studies degree is that I can almost create my own degree. Next semester I am taking (among other things) a class called "Managing and Maintaining a PC" and "SQL Server and Web Apps". I have to say though, I am ready to be done with school!
